Terms & Conditions


The Conditions of Sale applicable to any order placed through the Customer Contact Center or the Website are those in force at the time that an order has been placed on your behalf by a NYC Diamond District representative (in the case of an order placed through the Customer Contact Center) or at the time you place your order (in the case of an order placed through the Website). In the case of an order placed through the Website, when you check the “I Accept” box at the order confirmation section of the Website before placing your order with NYC Diamond District, you indicate your acceptance of these Conditions of Sale. If you refuse to accept these Conditions of Sale, you will not be able to order any NYC Diamond District products from the Website or the Customer Contact Center.
NYC Diamond District may modify the Conditions of Sale from time to time, at its sole discretion. If you are placing an order through the Website, then by checking the “I Accept” box and placing your order, you will be indicating your agreement to be bound by the Conditions of Sale as so modified through such time.


Only individuals who (a) have reached the age of majority (eighteen in most states), and (b) have legal capacity to enter into contracts. If you are under the age of majority or otherwise cannot lawfully enter into a contract, you must have your parent or guardian place an order on your behalf and thereby assent to these Conditions of Sale. Any orders placed in contravention to this provision shall be null and void.


All prices shown on the product pages of the Website or quoted by the Customer Contact Center are in U.S. Dollars.
NYC Diamond District reserves the right to modify prices and delivery costs at any time without prior notice. The price of a product and delivery costs displayed on the Website or quoted by the Customer Contact Center, at the time NYC Diamond District provides you with a Confirmation of Order, will be honored by NYC Diamond District.
Actual shipping costs and applicable taxes will be reflected on your order page before you are asked to confirm and place your order (in the case of a Website order), or will be quoted by the Customer Contact Center (in the case of a telephone order), and will also appear on your Confirmation of Order and invoice (if you choose to receive an invoice). Delivery costs, if any, are described in the shipping policy set forth below. Sales and use taxes will vary based on the location to which products are being shipped. Delivery costs and sales and use taxes are not stated on the product pages but will be added to the product price after you have chosen your delivery options.
The actual sales tax associated with your purchase will be calculated at the time when your order is to be shipped, at which point you will receive a Confirmation of Order. Please note that changes to applicable law between the date your order is placed and the date you are sent a Confirmation of Order may result in changes to the sales tax associated with your purchase.




After an order is placed, we will send User a confirmation. Subsequently, our employees will process User order and get it ready for shipment as soon as possible. The usual order processing time is two to five business days (this includes the time it takes for our security department to review the order and to prepare the item for shipment.) If the item is out of stock, it will take us from two to four weeks to manufacture it for User. However, if an item is not in our inventory, be assured that User will be contacted and given several options including ordering a similar item. 

USA Customers

It is our pleasure to provide to all of our USA customers FREE insured shipping & handling. We usually ship most items via FedEx and in some cases via USPS. All jewelry is securely and elegantly packaged in our jewelry boxes. 

  • NY State residents are required to pay 8.875% sales tax.
  • We do not ship to PO Box, APO and FPO.
  • All shipments include handling & insurance.
  • Shipments are combined so User can save on multiple items.
  • We require 2-5 business days of handling, custom made orders may take longer.
  • We will process User order and ship User item only after receiving a cleared payment.
  • PayPal’s payment will be shipped only to PayPal Confirmed Address.
  • Credit Card's payment will be shipped only to Credit Card billing address (need to match the Driver License).
  • Bank Wire Transfer’s payment will be shipped to any address User would like.

International Customers

Customs, Import, Duties and Tax Fees:
Your country of residence may impose customs, import, duties or tax fees that User must pay because User order originated outside of User home country.
These fees are Users responsibility and are separate from the cost User paid us for your merchandise and shipping. 
If User refuse to pay custom duties and release the package, User will be charged extra shipping and storage fees. 
We at NYC Diamond District are not liable for any duties, tariffs, brokerage fees or any charges that may incur upon arrival in Users country through customs.

  • International buyers agree to pay for shipping via FedEx-Flat Rate of $49.99.
  • Please allow 7 business days for delivery.
  • We ship worldwide (Except High Risk Countries*).
  • Telephone number must be provided at purchase via email or note message, so custom agent in Users country can contact User when the package has arrived.
  • No package will be shipped without a telephone number.
  • All shipments include handling & insurance.
  • We require 1-3 business days of handling, custom made orders may take longer.
  • We will process your order and ship your item only after receiving a cleared payment.
  • PayPal’s payment will be shipped only to PayPal Confirmed Address.

NYC Diamond District accepts the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Cards issued by banks domiciled outside the United States of America will not be accepted.
When ordering on the Website, you will need to enter your payment details on the appropriate form. If you order by telephone, you will need to communicate to the Customer Contact Center your credit card number, expiration date and your three- or four- digit security code that is printed on the back or the front of your card (CVV2/CVC2/CID) and other identifiable information. Your telephone conversation may be recorded for security and quality control purposes. Any telephone conversation recorded by our Customer Contact Center that contains your credit card information will be fully encrypted and only used to process card transactions.
All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to NYC Diamond District, you will need to contact your card issuer directly to solve this problem, and NYC Diamond District will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.


We accept PayPal, all major Credit Cards, Bank Wire Transfer, Money Order, Cashier or Personal Check. 
PayPal and Wire Transfer are the safest and fastest way to pay. 
We don't accept Western Union since there are many frauds with them.

Sometimes PayPal gives hard time to international customers with different currency. User needs to change Users currency and make the payment by US Dollar. If it still not working for User then we will sent User an invoice from PayPal to your email address, this invoice will make the checkout much simpler and faster.



PayPal: Very fast and safe. If payment is made via PayPal we ship only to PayPal Confirmed Address.


Wire Transfer: Very fast and very safe, we will get the money within 1 hour and it should get cleared on the next day. Item will be shipped to any address that User likes.


Credit Card via PayPal: Very fast and safe. Your eBay Account Shipping Address needs to match the address on PayPal/Credit Card Address.


Money Order / Cashier Check /Personal Check : The bank needs 5-10 business days for the check to get cleared. This process takes longer since there are lot of frauds and fake checks. Item will be shipped to any address that User likes after money order / check has cleared.


Credit Card over the Phone: Very fast and safe, User information is kept completely confidential.
User will need to fill and sign the Credit Card Authorization Form and send us a copy of User Driver License. Shipping address needs to match Credit Card Billing Address and Driver License Address


Once you have placed your order through the Customer Contact Center or on the Website, you will receive an Acknowledgment of Order by fax or email acknowledging the details of your order. This Acknowledgment of Order will contain an Order Reference Number assigned by NYC Diamond District. Please make sure that you save this Order Reference Number for any future enquiries regarding your order. This Acknowledgment of Order is not an acceptance of your order.
When ordering by telephone through the Customer Contact Center, you will also receive by fax or email these Conditions of Sale along with the Acknowledgment of Order. Please carefully review these Conditions of Sale upon receipt.



Upon shipment of your order NYC Diamond District will send you by email or by fax a written Confirmation of Order. The Confirmation of Order constitutes the acceptance of your order by NYC Diamond District and indicates the existence of a binding sales contract.


We accept orders for delivery to addresses in the continental United States and international orders. Please note that NYC Diamond District does not ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses or hotels.
Delivery costs will be assessed by NYC Diamond District and will be added to the price of the NYC Diamond District products themselves. The cost of delivery shall be calculated according to the purchase value of your order as well as shipping address as indicated in these Conditions of Sale.
When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing. Once the order is processed and ready for shipment, we will send you the Confirmation of Order by email or by fax.
NYC Diamond District insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature by an adult to confirm your acceptance of each NYC Diamond District product delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by such recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the sale contract by NYC Diamond District and transfer of responsibility to the recipient in the same way as if the product had been delivered to you.




User may return most items within 14 days of the date User order was received for a full refund of the purchase price excluding shipping, handling or other additional charges. All products shipped from our factory are carefully checked, tested, inspected and packaged before leaving our warehouse. Shipping errors and/or damage must be reported to NYC Diamond District and to Carrier upon receipt of shipment. This is imperative in order to perfect any claims to the carrier, and no deviation will be accepted.

No returns will be accepted without prior consent and/or knowledge from NYC Diamond District of a return. 
We do not refund return shipping charges unless we made an error. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. You can expect a refund within 5 days of our receiving your returned product. Refunds will be credited to the same form of payment used in User original purchase. 

  • Custom designed jewelry that we altered or personally made according to a client's designs are NOT returnable.
  • Any jewelry or watch that has been sized or altered in any way according to a client's request are NOT returnable.
  • Color Enhanced Diamonds custom-made by Color Process upon a client’s request are NOT returnable.
  • A 15% restocking fee may be charged on, Engraved items, Rings resized to greater than size 7, Rings resized smaller than size 5, and on Platinum and Yellow Gold Jewelry.


In order to ensure your total satisfaction, a Customer or a recipient of a gift of NYC Diamond District products (a “Gift Recipient”) may return NYC Diamond District products in accordance with the return and exchange policy set forth below. Returns of NYC Diamond District that are not in compliance with the conditions and timeframes set forth below may be rejected by NYC Diamond District and will be sent back to the Customer or Gift Recipient, as the case may be.



NYC Diamond District allows the Customer or Gift Recipient to return NYC Diamond District products purchased on the Website or through the Customer Contact Center within thirty (14) days following receipt, but subject to the further terms and conditions set forth below.


Products that have been purchased on the Website or through the Customer Contact Center may be returned NYC Diamond District headquarters office, or you may take your return to the NYC Diamond District retail store.

Should the Customer or Gift Recipient decide to return a purchased item within the 14-day period, NYC Diamond District and Customer or Gift Recipient, as the case may be, agree that the Customer or Gift Recipient take the liability of returning merchandise. It is recommended that the Customer or Gift Recipient should purchase insurance for the returned merchandise. The merchandise should thus be mailed registered and fully insured.
The Customer or Gift Recipient, as the case may be, must keep a proof of return shipment, and NYC Diamond District accepts no liability in the event that such proof cannot be produced.
Upon receiving a return, NYC Diamond District will verify that the returned product satisfies the conditions of the return policy and, if so, then proceed with the applicable exchange.


Some stone weights may vary +/- 0.05 points. NYC Diamond District carefully weights the stones and small variation in weight is normal due to the sensitivity of atomic scales and instances where the stones are already set in jewelry at the time of weighing. As such stone weights in our listings are approximated to within +/- 0.05 points and are only guaranteed to be within +/- 0.05 points of the weight listed.


NYC Diamond District products must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them. NYC Diamond District will not accept any return if the product shows signs of wear, or has been used or altered from its original condition in any way.
Engraved or embossed NYC Diamond District products cannot be returned to NYC Diamond District for exchange.
Watch bracelets that have been adjusted at the Customer’s request must be returned with the exact same number of links as in the original delivery package.
All returns will be subject to strict Quality Control (QC) by NYC Diamond District to ensure that the returned products satisfy these requirements. If the products do not meet QC standards, NYC Diamond District will refuse the return, and the products will be sent back to the Customer or the Gift Recipient, as applicable. If the returned product satisfies Quality Control (QC), NYC Diamond District will proceed with the applicable exchange.




Refunds will be provided only in the 14 day grace period from purchase date, but will be charged for the shipping and a 15% restocking fee.  After the 14 days no refunds will be provided. All merchandise that is returned and passes NYC Diamond District Quality Control will be entitled to store credit or exchanged.


Customers and Gift Recipients may be permitted to exchange a product purchased on the Website or through the Customer Contact Center for another NYC Diamond District product if the product to be exchanged satisfies the conditions of the return policy.
NYC Diamond District will send an invoice to the Customer or Gift Recipient which specifies the value of the returned product, the price of the item for which the original product has been exchanged and the difference to be on store credit.
Should a product be returned for exchange to the NYC Diamond District retail store a Customer or Gift Recipient, the Customer will be entitled to exchange the merchandise for a different product. A Gift Recipient that wishes to exchange a NYC Diamond District product can do so either via the NYC Diamond District store or by visiting the NYC headquarters.
Should a product be returned for exchange either the Customer or Gift Recipient will be entitled to receive merchandise credit of the price difference, in case the original product is more expensive than the item to be received in the exchange. If the returned product is less expensive than the exchanged item, the Customer or Gift Recipient will be charged the difference in price.


NYC Diamond District is extremely careful in ensuring that each product strictly complies with our quality criteria and that it has passed all our controls, both technical and aesthetic.
If nevertheless you receive a product which seems to be damaged, you may return it to NYC Diamond District in accordance with the return policy. Upon receipt, NYC Diamond District may classify the returned product as a defective product. Please note that items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be defective.
If your product is declared as defective by NYC Diamond District, the following solutions will be proposed to the Customer or the Gift Recipient, as applicable:
i) NYC Diamond District may send you the same product in the exact same size, subject to availability,
ii) NYC Diamond District may propose an exchange for another NYC Diamond District creation of equivalent or higher value, in which case the initial price will be deducted and you will be required to pay only the difference.

NYC Diamond District nor any of their respective officers, directors or agents are not liable for any loss or damage of products.



The pictures on our website are our own pictures of items that we carry. We don't use third-party stock photos from their websites. All of our photos were taken by our professional photographer to show the details of the jewelry and the brilliance of the stone(s). Photos have been enlarged to show detail. The actual size, color and clarity may vary depending on the grade of stone, size of the mounting as well as other factors such as screen quality, resolution and browser settings.


AGI-Accredited Gemological Institute is an independent diamond and jewelry appraisal service located at the center of the diamond district in New York City. AGI appraisals are recognized by all major insurance companies. They provide the best possible information to our clients regarding their diamond, jewelry, gem stone & watch purchases. Their Appraisal Services include an in depth description of your purchase which includes the four C's The Cut, The Color, The Clarity, The Carat weight along with the plot of inclusions, and an Estimated Retail Replacement Value. They also verify and match GIA certificates with the stones and offer appraisals for the verified items needed for insurance purposes. Their Appraisers are experienced GIA Graduates who are trained to provide the best service in a timely matter.
GAI- Gemological Appraisal Industry is an independent firm that identifies, appraises and evaluates gemstones and jewelry. They perform these services for the jewelry trade and the public




If you purchase a NYC Diamond District product as a gift for a Gift Recipient, you will have the option to choose whether you wish to receive an invoice. If you choose to receive an invoice, NYC Diamond District will send such invoice to your billing address by regular mail (NYC Diamond District will never send the invoice and payment details to the Gift Recipient).



NYC Diamond District is pleased to offer a Two Year Warranty on any watch purchased from us. All of the watches that we sell have been inspected by trained Jewelers and are guaranteed to be as described and in proper working order. All of our watches are 100% authentic with a money back guarantee based on authenticity. We stand behind our products. Most watch manufactures offer a limited warranty on their watches, which basically only covers the movement of the watch. At NYC Diamond District we are selling first quality merchandise at rock bottom prices. We are able to do so because we are liquidators and any companies MSRP set price structure that authorized dealers are required to meet do not bind us. Therefore we can offer substantial discounts on all name brand watches. Only authorized dealers can provide the direct manufacturers warranties. Furthermore, it has been our experience that when there is an issue with the watch if User have to send it to the company of manufacture the turnaround time for the repair can be 60-90 days. NYC Diamond District will offer a One Year warranty on all watches sold. We also offer free lifetime battery replacement and free bracelet sizing, all you pay is for return shipping. The Two Year NYC Diamond District warranty covers the watch movement and battery replacement of any watch purchased on our site. Watches that have symptoms of abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time will be serviced under our warranty program. Please note that it does not include: watch case, bracelet, straps, crown/stem, crystal/glass and finishes. Opening the back casing of the watch by uncertified watchmakers voids all warranties. Furthermore, damage caused by excessive wear and tear, physical/accidental abuse, and damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations is also not covered by our warranty. It also does not cover damage or defects arising from overhauls or maintenance. Damages caused to a timepiece arising from water or moisture, are not covered under the warranty. Warranties are not transferable. This warranty is valid only at NYC Diamond District. It will become void if someone other than NYC Diamond District performs repair or warranty service, including battery replacement.
